Meet Katelyn Rohland, Senior Director of Client Strategy

We're thrilled to announce that Katelyn Rohland has joined the BOLD team as a Senior Director of Client Strategy.  She brings more than 12 years of omnichannel, eCommerce and shopper experience working across a wide range of CPG brands at leading agencies. 

Katelyn says she chose BOLD because of the culture and the people. "It was clear how much each of them genuinely cared about the organization they were partnering to build."

Here's a bit more about Katelyn in her own words...

What's the first thing you ever bought on Amazon.com? What does that say about you?
Books! My undergraduate degree is in English with a concentration in creative writing. I'm an avid reader and generally read somewhere between 50-100 books a year of varying genres.

Three of my most recent reads are: Spare by Prince Harry, The Atlas Complex by Olivia Blake and Skinny Dipping in the Lake of the Dead by Alan Deniro. 

What is that one song that's the soundtrack to your life? 
"Life Is A Highway" by Tom Cochrane. I believe that life is what you make of it, and it's up to you to seize every opportunity and experience possible. You should always be striving to learn something new and break out of your comfort zone. When the "road" gets tough, it's possible to get through any obstacle (especially with the support of your spouse, friends, and family) and come out of it even stronger.

Where would you go if you could hop on a plane without worrying about expenses?
It would probably have to be some kind of animal-focused excursion, like an Alaskan expedition to a "bear camp" to watch brown bears in their natural habitat or an African Safari to get up close to as many wild animals as possible. 

I'm happiest when I'm...
Enjoying the outdoors, hiking or kayaking with my husband, and being surrounded by wildlife and the sounds of nature. 

People would be surprised to know that...
I was in concert choir and an acapella group in high school. However, these days, most of my musical performances are relegated to singing in the shower or belting out a tune in the car with the music turned up.
